Two teenagers arrested for stabbing in Langley Hall Park

West Midlands Police teenagers on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Langley Hall Park, Solihull.

A man in his 40s is understood to have been involved in a disagreement with some youths at around 7pm on Saturday (11 May).

The man was then stabbed – sustaining injuries which were thankfully not life-threatening – and his attackers made off.

Following quick-time enquiries WMP identified suspects and two boys – aged 15 and 16 – have been detained on suspicion of attempted murder. 

A 35-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders and they are all in custody for questioning.

West Midlands Police are currently involved in Operation Sceptre as part of our ongoing work to reduce knife crime. They are focusing on raising awareness about the dangers of carrying weapons and the consequences.
